How to complain to E.ON Next

Contact E.ON Next and tell them exactly what you want them to do to fix the problem. E.ON Next's complaints procedure is set out in E.ON Next: Complaints. Keep dates, reference numbers and copies of emails or letters, plus photos of meter readings.

Ofgem says suppliers must try to fix problems you report within eight weeks.

E.ON Next price rises

Energy works differently from phone and broadband: there's no fixed yearly contract rise. If you're on a standard variable tariff, your unit rates and standing charges can change, but they're limited by Ofgem's energy price cap. If you're on a fixed tariff, the rates are fixed until the end date. For your own rates, check your contract or latest bill and compare them with the current cap.

Leaving or switching from E.ON Next

If E.ON Next doesn't sort it out

You can take your complaint to the free Energy Ombudsman if it isn't fixed within eight weeks, you get a deadlock letter, or you're not happy with the response. You must go to the Ombudsman within 12 months of a deadlock letter.
